The City of Châteaubriant is pleased to host the 88th Rally of the International Federation of Camping and Caravanning.

We are honored that our City was selected by international institutions. Our City had hosted the European Motorhome Festival back in 2014 and 2015. Châteaubriant thus follows FICC’s dynamic to encourage camping and caravanning activities all around the world.

Châteaubriant is the city at the heart of a dynamic network of 26 towns, with a count of more than 44,000 inhabitants. It is a human-sized urban area well-known for its quality of life.

Châteaubriant is proud of its glorious past and history with its outstanding Medieval and Renaissance château. The city is growing with exceptional heritage and landscapes.

Châteaubriant is one of the main economic players of the area with 9,000 jobs, in which industry is very important, reflecting an outstanding expertise exported in the entire world.

Well-known for its culture and its education with nearly 5,400 students, the city is also well-known for its sport activities: it has obtained the “Most Sporty City in the Loire Region” award in 2013 and this year in 2017.

Moreover, Châteaubriant is an innovative city in protecting the environment: it has one of the most important thermal networks of the Loire region, and has inaugurated in late 2017 a solar thermal power plant with more than 2,000 m² of solar panels linking this network, the first one of this importance in France.

Welcoming and lively, served by the Nantes-Châteaubriant train, our town offers a place with a high quality of life.
